FAQ
What photo and info do you need?
A clear side-on, full-body photo (snout to tail fin visible). A measuring tape in frame helps but isn’t required.
Please provide: Species, Total Length (cm/in), Tackle, Date, Angler name. Phone photos are fine; we include standard retouch (color/perspective cleanup).
How do you decide the print size and format? Can I frame it locally?
We scale to life size and choose the most suitable format for layout and framing.
- Good (up to 50 cm): A4 / A3 / A2 for easy local frames.
Guide: up to 25 cm → A4 / up to 35 cm → A3 / up to 50 cm → A2. - Large (up to ~100 cm): up to ~70 cm prints to A1 (594×841 mm).
Larger or deep-bodied fish use our long formats 450×1200 mm or 600×1200 mm (we propose the best fit during proof). - Huge (up to ~170 cm): 600×1800 mm or 800×1800 mm long banners.
Indoor vs Outdoor — which should I choose?
Pick by where you’ll display it.
- Indoor (Fabric – Tromat): soft matte surface, great for gallery walls and living rooms. Lightweight, shipped rolled.
- Outdoor (Banner – Tarpaulin): heavy-duty with UV-resistant inks, ideal for boats, camps, or outdoor walls.
- Grommets: available for both materials as an add-on (corners or perimeter, silver/gold, inner Ø ≈ 12 mm).
What are the lead times?
Proof in 5–7 business days after we receive your photo and Total Length → 1 round of edits included → production 10–14 days → international shipping 7–10 days.
Typical total: about 3–4 weeks (varies by region/season).
How do you ship? Will it arrive safely?
We ship rolled in a protective tube (no frame). The package includes a thank-you card, certificate, and a QR guide for unrolling and framing. It’s lightweight and safe for international delivery.
Shipping, Duties & Returns
Shipping is a flat rate by region.Indoor and Outdoor prints currently share the same shipping rates, though these may be adjusted in the future based on actual costs.
All items are custom-made and therefore non-returnable.If your tube or print is damaged during transit, please email us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos, and we will arrange a replacement.
Import duties, VAT, and other customs fees are not included in the product price or shipping cost. These charges are typically collected by the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient (DDU: Delivered Duties Unpaid).
Can I add multilingual labels (English/Japanese/Chinese)?
Yes. We can print the species name in English / Japanese (Kanji/Katakana); Chinese characters are also available if the font supports them.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Because this is custom-made, orders become non-cancellable and non-refundable once design starts (layout/retouching or when we send your proof).
The only exception: if your photo is unusably low-resolution upon our initial review, we’ll notify you and issue a full refund before we begin design.
What counts as “unusable” photo quality?
Examples include:
- Extremely low resolution (e.g., long edge under ~2000 px) or heavy compression artifacts
- Cropped/blurry image where snout or tail is missing or unreadable
- Severe perspective distortion that can’t be corrected
- So dark/overexposed that details can’t be recovered
If available, we may ask for original files or alternate photos first.
Do you include a proof? Can I request edits?
Yes. One proof round is included. Additional edits are available as an add-on.
My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
Contact us within 7 days with photos of the tube and print. We’ll replace it promptly.
